The Beacons Peaks - Pen y Fan and Corn Du

A strenuous mountain walk on well-made footpaths to the summit of Pen y Fan and Corn Du.

A map and compass, waterproofs, and a whistle and torch are all essential for this walk, as the weather is very changeable in these mountains.

Brecon Beacons Horseshoe Ridge Walk

A challenging upland mountain walk that takes you into the heart of the Brecon Beacons. You’ll be rewarded with spectacular views if the weather is good.

A map and compass, waterproofs, and a whistle and torch are all essential for this walk, as the weather is very changeable in these mountains.

Discover roaring falls with the Four Waterfalls walk

The Four Waterfalls walk is a captivating woodland walk exploring the Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons. As its name suggests, this circular walk lets you discover the four falls of Sgwd Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd y Pannwr and Sgwd-yr-Eira.

The waterfalls are best enjoyed in spring or autumn when the falls are roaring and spectacular.

Parc Bryn Bach

Set in the heart of Tredegar in southeast Wales, Parc Bryn Bach (Bryn Bach Park), offers a warm welcome and plenty of outdoor activities for all ages and abilities.

As a local nature reserve, the park boasts 340 acres of stunning grass and woodland including a 36-acre lake.

Beaufort Hill Ponds & Woodlands

Beaufort Hill Ponds & Woodlands is part of the recently formed Ebbw Fach Trail group, connecting 13 Green Spaces in the Ebbw Fach valley.

The site as a whole is of great biodiversity value supporting a mosaic of habitats such as acid grasslands, hay meadows, wet heath mire, swamp and open water.

Cwm Oergwm Walk

This walk takes you into an unexplored cwm (valley) where there is solitude, mountains and waterfalls. The climbing is done in the beginning and is not strenuous.

There is just one sting in the tail when the track climb steeply up from the stream.
