Gallery

Welcome to Lloyd Coombes Ceramics gallery, an independent animal ceramic artist, specialising in ceramic art that celebrates animals in all their various magnificent forms. Felicity has a range of ceramics available to purchase as well as creating an animal ceramic of your pet and attending exhibitions all around the UK! Please see below a range of images of all of the above!

This year’s exhibitions will also see a continuation of 2020 collections, ‘Far From’ and ‘The Child Within’.

Throughout my courses I believe it is important to break everything down into simple steps. I have small groups of students no more than 6 people, so I can fit in plenty of one to one tuition.

The main source of inspiration for my exhibitions this year has been how we respond to others and form emotional connections to those around us.

I love featuring my work at exhibitions all over the UK – I will be releasing more details on my exhibition dates coming this year!

Scratching Fox – 30cm length 20cm width 30cm height.

Otter on dome (Standing) – Domes are 6cm diameter 7cm height over all size depends on the animal upon it and the position.

Day to day, I am surrounded by animals. From a pig sprawled out on the kitchen sofa to Mabel the sheet standing at the garden gate like a dog to greet us, inspiration is endless and allows my work to grow and develop every year.

Learning to Ride – Featuring Barnaby the Stallion and Cossington the Spinone.

The length of time needed to create your commission can vary, with the longest wait being 6 months. Please enquire for more information, or to find out the best time to order.

Rolling Spaniel – 45cm length 20cm width 20cm height.

Tummy Rub Please – Rolling Cockapoo – 40cm length 20cm width 20cm height.

I am always exploring different ideas and themes to introduce new collections to my main body of work. My animals at Far From animal sanctuary and the beautiful setting of the Brecon Beacons National Park are a constant inspiration to me.

If you order a commission as a gift, we’ll send you a gift pack to present to your loved one on their special day. The gift pack enables the recipient to take part in the exciting experience of having a sculpture of their pet commissioned.

Kingfisher on dome – domes are 6cm diameter 7cm height over all size depends on the animal upon it and the position.

Hedgehog – 20cm length 15cm width 15cm height.

The course doesn’t just enable you to see how I sculpt and manage the clay – it gives you an insight into sanctuary life and the reason behind Far From.
