Far From Holiday Retreat

The Far From Holiday Retreat is your rural escape. We have three beautifully furnished holiday properties situated in the gorgeous Brecon Beacons with access to activities nearby and the ceramics studio and animal sanctuary on site. Unwind and enjoy your stay.

Lloyd Coombes Ceramics

Felicity Lloyd-Coombes is an independent ceramics artist, specialising in the creation of charming individually hand-sculpted animal ceramics. She has a studio here at Far From, offering a number of courses throughout the year for you to hone your skills. A selection of her work is available on the site and commissions are welcome!

The Animal Sanctuary

At Far From, everything we do is centred around taking care of our wonderful group of rescue animals. We focus on animals that are unable to be re-homed or working animals in need of retirement, all who live out their days in peace and tranquillity alongside us in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

Perfect for couples
With its little log burner, The Cottage is a cosy romantic escape and offers absolutely stunning views of the reservoir below.

Breathtaking Views
Mini Corner is situated in a private location on the farm, right next to the miniature horse paddock – hence the name!

With an “L” shaped decking providing ample seating room and absolutely breathtaking views of the reservoir below, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Stylish and functional – with exceptional views!
We have three identical, yet entirely different, glamping pods – providing an exceptionally designed, functional space for you to spend a relaxing few days in the Brecon Beacons.

Each of our three pods have a double bed, toilet facilities and look out onto the beautiful reservoir.

Camping… but not as you know it!
We have seven wild camping plots spread around the top of the farm looking down onto the beautiful Pontsticill reservoir – each plot is private and secluded. Although we advertise it as “wild camping”, there are toilet and shower facilities alongside a washing up area, giving you the opportunity to freshen up as you travel further north into the Beacons.
